SECRETS: she has a disease called “congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis” (CIPA), she has done cocaine before, her uncle molested her when she was little, her parents are filthy rich.
PERSONALITY:First off, Kira often comes across as FEARLESS. With the inability to feel pain, she doesn’t really have much to fear. Unlike most people with CIPA, Kira isn’t very paranoid about her condition. While she checks her temperature and heart rate, she isn’t too concerned with dying. She isn’t going to feel a thing when it happens, so why worry about it? Kira isn’t very aware of the dangers of the world, though she really should be. Kira doesn’t seem to have any sense of fear along with no sense of pain. Even with her emotional fears Kira isn’t one to show she is afraid. She’s more likely to punch her fear in the face.
RUDE is another good word to use for Kira. She is far from polite and doesn’t often treat people with the respect that they deserve. Even people close to her are treated rather poorly. Despite a very formal and privileged upbringing, Kira is a very bad-mannered young woman. Being vulgar is a lifestyle for her, and not something she plans on changing any time soon. It’s not uncommon for Kira to trash talk her opposing team. It also isn’t uncommon for Kira to do barely legal moves in order to win. She is not a fair person, nor is she very polite in any way.
Along with a offensive and crude attitude, Kira is also OUTSPOKEN. She is not afraid to be brutally honest with someone, no matter how much it might hurt the person. Kira is honest in the worst way possible, the kind of way that you never want to hear. Though, if you’re on Kira’s good side it’s more like constructive criticism. With people she actually cares about she tries not to be as harsh, otherwise she is blunt and a bit too honest.
Even when she isn’t on the track Kira is AGGRESSIVE. Having been an assertive child, she is now a rather violent woman. Kira is quite destructive by nature, even when she was younger. Kira often forgets that she is one of the very few people who feels pain, this ending in her inflicting a lot on others. She forgets her strength and the feelings of others, though that’s not really something you can blame her for. When it comes to roller derby, Kira’s aggression is her biggest asset.
Probably one of the most harsh thing you could call her is MALEVOLENT, but she will always take that as a compliment. When someone does Kira wrong she will stop at nothing to make sure they get what she feels that they deserve, which is usually very a harsh. As a violent natured girl with a lot of spite behind her, she can do a lot of damage when she gets the chance to. She is quite the dastardly young women with a malicious mind.
Something most people don’t get to see about the dark and morbid young woman is how intellectually SURREAL she is. Kira is a bright person, contrary to how she comes across, but she expresses her intellect in less conventional ways. She is a bit on the weird side and is definitely not someone you would approach randomly on the streets or in a store, not unless you’\re attracted to weirdos.

MOTHER: Lisa Ana Sovolski, 57, accountant.
FATHER: Bowden Adrian Sovolski, 60, business owner.
SIBLINGS:
OTHER IMPORTANT PEOPLE:
ORIGIN: Kharkiv, Ukraine.
HISTORY:
Despite most stories you hear about people living in Russia or the Ukraine, Bowden and Lisa led privileged lives. They came from well off families and rather happy parents, all well educated with very charming lives. It was no surprise when the couple of merely two years got married, and even less of a surprise when they had their first daughter, Sonya Anna. By this time in their lives Bowden had already taken over his family’s business and was running it as smoothly as his parents did, while Lisa was working as his accountant. Lisa didn’t need to take much time off to take care of baby Sonya, since they could afford nannies to do that for them. The first ten or so years after Sonya’s birth were quite uneventful and “normal”. Sonya was three years old when Lisa gave birth to another girl they named Tara Elisa, a much fussier baby than Sonya had been. As with her older sister, Tara was often left in the care of nannies, though this did not estrange the girls from their parents in the slightest. Lisa and Bowden, no mater how much work they had to do, always found time to play with their girls. Family was important to them, and they wanted nothing more than for their girls to be happy and healthy. A year after Tara’s birth they welcomed Victoria Candace into their family, and a year after that was when their “normal” family was broken. The birth of Kira Anastasia Sovolski was a normal one. Labour was tough on Lisa, but easier than her other three girls because of experience. Kira was born without any complications and deemed completely healthy by doctors. There seemed to be nothing wrong with her. [/blockquote]
When Kira was only a few weeks old Sonya tripped and spilled boiling water on her baby sister, who didn’t react in any way. No screaming to wailing, no tears or flails. Not even so much as a twitch. Lisa and Bowden were immediately suspicious, and brought it up with the doctor when they took baby Kira to get her burnt hand tended to. A blood test later, Kira was diagnosed with congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis, more commonly called CIPA. The news came as a huge shock to Lisa and Bowden, who initially denied that anything could be wrong with their daughter. There was no way she could have such a rare disease, not any way. They had no choice but to accept it, however, and from then on treated Kira as if she was made of glass.
Growing up being treated as if she would break from the slightest touch was not pleasing to Kira. She quickly grew rebellious of the sheltered way her parents raised her and grew a strong sense of adventure. She was a determined little girl who pushed for what she wanted, and of course she got that. One by one the scars started to accumulate, adding to the one on her hand from when she was only a few weeks old. Constantly neglecting to go outside without shoes on, Kira was always going to the hospital to get her bottoms of her feet tended to. It became a ritual for her entire body to be checked for wounds whenever she entered the house, to go along with the routine of checking her temperature and heart rate. Her parents were constantly afraid that something bad would happen to her, especially when she fell off of a jungle gym at school and landed on her back, proceeding to get up and go back on the jungle gym to play with a giant hole on her back. Kira never noticed when she got hurt unless it was something that she could see.
At age ten Bowden bought a lodge in Salt Lake City, wanting to take the family there to visit it. He fell in love with the city and rather than just visiting decided to settle down there. American citizenships were obtained for every member of the Sovolski family and Kira continued to be monitored for any life threatening injury. A year after moving to America she was unable to feel a pain in her right side and unable to sweat from a fever. She spent two days completely unaware that something was wrong with her, no signs showing up when they checked her. A random fainting at lunch said otherwise, and Kira was whisked to the hospital and checked thoroughly for some explanation behind it. The explanation was that her appendix had ruptured, and unable to feel the pain it would usually cause it had been left alone. Emergency surgery saved Kira from a possibly fatal accident, though she was kept at the hospital until it had healed enough for her to go on with her days. They couldn’t risk her going home and endangering herself even more.
When Kira started high school her style started to change. She grew more morbid and malicious, taking up rugby so she would have something fun and violent to do. Her parents did not the idea of her competing in an aggressive sport, but her coach did a good job of making sure nothing severe happened to Kira. Dozens more scars were added to her collection from getting cleats to the knees and shins, as well as a kick to her face that caused her to have a black eye for well over a month. Most people simply saw Kira as tough, not many people knowing about her CIPA. She didn’t want people to make a big deal about it and only told her teachers just to be safe. With that, Kira started getting pierced by her friends. She let them pierce wherever they wanted, hiding them from her parents for as long as she could. They would always find them when inspecting her body for potentially fatal cuts or infections, and they would always lecture her about it.
Late into her high school years Kira’s uncle came to live with them for a year. He was very unlike his respectful and modest brother, giving Kira and her sisters the creeps. Though all of her sisters were moved out by then and attending colleges out of state, leaving it with just her parents and her living at the large house. On several occasions her drunk uncle would stumble into Kira’s bedroom and make passes on her, crawling into her bed and touching her in places she hadn’t even let her boyfriends touch. She kept it quite for the longest time, attempting to deal with it on her own as most teenagers thought they could do. Finally she got fed up with him and attempted to fight back, breaking a few fingers when punching him incorrectly and getting an eyebrow piercing ripped out from him. Unable to hide it any longer she finally fessed up to her parents, who kicked Barys out immediately. This incident only helped to make Kira more aggressive and malevolent though.
By her parents wishes, Kira remained in Salt Lake City for university, majoring in art, art history and English. She flew by college rather easily, and during that time started developing and even larger collection of piercings and adding tattoos into the mix. At only twenty years old she managed to buy her way into being allowed to do roller derby, taking the name Marzipain for her inability to feel pain. She joined the Leave it to Cleavers as a blocker, quite enjoying the position and chance to beat the crap out of people. The violent sport was just what the girl needed, though she knew she had to be extra careful. Kira tried her best to keep her CIPA a secret from her team mates, but it was only a matter of time before she broke her arm leg in a game and proceeded to stand back up and attempt to keep going, only to have the bone give way under her. Going through all of this with a stone face forced her to once again fess up about something she wanted to keep to herself, though it remains as only a rumour to the league.

she purred happily. [/blockquote]words: 773Mischa honestly couldn’t recall how many relationships she had been in before, but she knew it was quite a few. Mischa tended to jump right into relationships; even if it was someone she had just met and barely even knew. She was doing that today actually. She talked to Freddie once and agreed to go on a date with him. She couldn’t help herself, he was very attractive. She didn’t have any specific “type” when it came to men, so long as it was someone who pissed her brothers odd. For that reason, Mischa was used to dating rather rude and arrogant men. You know the type, the guys who were always assholes but were so incredibly hot and good in bed. They never really lasted long though. She was lucky if she dated a guy for a month. Usually Mischa got bored of them or one of her brothers chased the guy away for being a jackass. It was cute hoe protective of her they were, but they really had to stop chasing away her boyfriends. It had actually been a while since she had dated, so she was looking forward to going out with Freddie. She’d be lying to say she wasn’t excited.
To calm herself down she had spent the morning finishing up a multi-media painting someone commissioned. It was more abstract than she usually did and contained several different types of knick knacks she had found around town; some sequins, a little bit of red sand and other stuff like that. It was pretty fun to do and she was almost sad to find herself finished. With her hair pulled back in a very messy bun and paint brushed keeping the bun together, she used her coin necklace to sign the painting. She never used her actual signature, and instead dipped one side of the coin in paint and press it to the corner. She always had to wash the coin off right away though, otherwise it would get paint all over her clothes. Sure, most of them were stained anyways, but if she could avoid it she would. By the time she was finished her painting and done cleaning off she had an hour before she promised to meet Freddie, so she figured it was a good time to change and hop on the bus.
She remained in a pair of paint stained shorts that barely covered her behind, leaving her legs showing nearly completely. For her upper half Mischa put on a short black dress with one very loose sleeve and one thin strap. It had a skull on the front and one on the strap as well and was almost as long as the shorts she had on. She left her coin necklace under the shirt and a red necklace over top of it to go with two different sets of red bangles on either wrist. To keep the stray strands of hair out of her face she added a few bobby pins, forgetting the paint brushes were still in her hair. Last was her red bag and a pair of black flats. She figured that Freddie would greatly enjoy watching her bowl in short shorts, even if her legs weren’t nice like a dancer’s or gymnasts. That didn’t mean she couldn’t show them off though; she quite liked her legs. Not to mention her toosh.
Mischa got on to the bus and sat down at the back, as per usual, and pulled out her pocket sketchbook. Also as per usual, she started making quick sketches of the people she saw getting on and off. An elderly woman’s wrinkled hands and a young boy’s sweet and plump cheeks. Various parts of people scattered about a single page to pass the time. She didn’t spend more than half a minute on a single sketch, always a fan of life drawing. It didn’t take long to reach her stop, putting her sketchbook back in her small bag and getting off. She had to do a little bit of walking to get to the bowling alley, but she never minded that. Passing by a thrift store, it was all she had to keep walking rather than go in and spend hours looking at stuff. No, she had a date with Freddie; a fine piece of flamboyant man. By the time she got to the bowling alley he was already there, sitting down to put his shoes on. As quietly as she could, she put on her shoes and tiptoed over to Freddie, practically jumping on to his lap when he wasn’t expecting it. “Hallo there handsome,”
